Here are the questionz that get asked most often...
What makez this store different than any other?
WildKidz Unlimited is not really a store, when you get right down to it.
In fact, it would better be labelled as a "best of" collection (or maybe an on-line "mall"). Every product entry you'll find here is actually a reference to a product in another ("real") on-line store that itself takez care of all the actual order fulfillment, billing, customer service, etc.
WildKidz Unlimited taskz itself with finding the good stuff and pointing the way, providing a front-end to some of the product customization, and serving as a clearing-house for the various special offerz provided by the "real" storez.
What type of productz do you have? Are there planz for more?
All product typez we currently support are shown in the list below, linked to the product page to display them. If there's no link, that just meanz we haven't found a cool enough example of that product type to list just yet!
Product Types:
Will I pay more by shopping in this store?
No! Or at least that is not what any fair affiliate program does (and if you find that this is not the case, please let us know so that we can discontinue business with the offending store!)
In fact, because we alert you to store specialz, you will probably discover that you pay slightly less by shopping here!
What storez do you represent?
All on-line storez we currently represent are shown in the list below, linked to the product page to display them. If there's no link, that just meanz we haven't found a cool enough example of their productz to list just yet!
Represented Stores:
How do you make any money if you're not really selling anything?
There are a couple of ways: through affiliate referralz and through royaltiez.
Most of the represented on-line storez offer affiliate programz, meaning that they will pay for getting people to their site and buying their productz (affiliate marketing). So, any time we send you to one of these storez and you buy something, we get paid.
Product royaltiez are paid when you purchase productz that are created by WildKidz Unlimited. The amount of royalty variez depending upon the product and any specialz that might be offered on the product at the time of purchase.
Isn't this store just another way to advertise your own productz and servicez?
Of course it is!
But it goez beyond that as well, since we also support a growing number of productz from on-line vendorz you may not even know about yet. And yes, we could just provide linkz to every product in every on-line store that offers an affiliate program. But we're only interested in what we consider "cool", and so those are the only kind of productz (and stores) we'll represent.
OK, so which productz did you create?
All the productz by wilddeej (our "main" store),
LongLiveRock (a tribute to rock and roll), and
wild_times (more "time-specific" stuff).
What's all this about WildKidz Unlimited being a "No Logo Zone"?
There seemz to be a huge trend of productz - especially clothing linez - that feature nothing but the name of the store that sellz them, or their logo. Sometimez they might even go to the trouble of "stylizing" their name/logo so it's not quite as boring, often timez not.
We consider it incredibly generous of the customerz of such companiez to engage in free advertising for them. But we also think that those companies have exploited their customerz far too long. So, until they start fairly compensating their customerz by paying them each and every time these type of productz are worn around in public, we won't represent any of these type of productz either.
It's all well and good for a company to include a little something to let otherz know where the product came from, but when their name/logo becomes the entire focus of the product, we consider that to be going a bit far. That's not "cool".
How do I request a custom order?
If you'd like us to design a custom product for you, by all meanz please and let us know what you've got in mind. We'll be happy to work with you in creating something to your unique specificationz whenever possible!
I see a product design I really like, but I want it on another product type. Can this be done?
Possibly, but that all dependz upon the product's author and the store they use to sell their productz. In general, you're more likely to get a good response from product authorz associated with storez such as Zazzle or CafePress. However, the best way to find out this answer is to click into the relevant product page, then contact the product author or store from the appropriate linkz on the product page.
Who the heck is ObviousMan?
Who indeed.
ObviousMan is the protector of the simple and distinct truth. He despisez confusion and obfuscation, and is constantly vigilant in his goal of forever banishing obscurity and ambiguousness. If it's vague, unclear, or indefinite, he is there to expose the precise, the straightforward, and the undisguised.
Or, maybe it's just some wannabe superhero-type guy in a lame costume.
